Upper Dolpa (Special zone) 35 Days trek

Located in the central west of the country, relatively rarely visited the remote and wild distinct Dolpo area offers wonderful chance to experience a landscape and culture far different from that seen in other part of the country. It is the part of the Tibetan Plateau and generally dry. It is the habitant of various rare and endangered plant and wildlife species many of which can be seen nowhere also in the country. To enter the Upper Dolpo remote and sparely populated area a special restricted area permit must be obtained. A government appointed liaison officer must also accompany the group.
