The Royal trek is to the north of Pokhara
around the second largest lake, Begnas Tal. This route is famous
as Royal trek. Views of the Annapurnaa and back to Pokhara
valley are worthwhile from the ridge top and number of
interesting Gurung villages are visited on the way. This is
particularly good route during the colder winter months. No
teahouses are available so groups need to be self –sufficient.
