Ghorepani Poonhill Trek |
This trek is designed for trekkers on a limited
time schedule and will offer some of the best views in the
Annapurna region without having to contend with the altitude.
Ghorepani which is in 2850 m. elevation; offers panoramic view
of the Himalayan giants such as the many peaks of Annapurna I
8091m., Annapurna south, Nilgiri, Tukuche peak. Dhapus peak, the
holy Machhapuchhre (Fish tail) 6993m. Annapurna II, III, IV,
Lamjung Himal And Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and more…. on a clear
day, it is even possible to see the transcendental valleys on
the southern side. The tradition and culture and village life
will spell you. In a short it would be a beautiful trekking with
lots of discoveries. |

Itinerary |
Days 01 : Pick up from Airport and Hotel
check in |
Days 02 : Kathmandu city Sight seeing

Days 03 : Fly or drive from Kathmandu to
Pokhara. |
Days 04 : Drive to Nayapool about one and
half hour. Commence trek to Hille (1470m) about 3-4 hour’s walk.
Overnight at Lodge. |
Days 05 : Trek from Hille to Ghorepani
(2850m) about 6-7 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge. |
Days 06 : An early morning climb to Poon
Hill (3210m) for about an hour and return to down and after
breakfast start to trek to Tadapani (2640m) about 5-6 hour’s
walk. Overnight at Lodge. |
Days 07 : Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk
(1953m) about 3-4 hour’s walk. Overnight at or Lodge. |
Days 08 : Trek downhill to Naya Pool
about 5 hour’s and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. |
Days 09 : Fly or drive back to Kathmandu. |
Days 10 : Leisure day in Kathmandu city |
Days 11 : Airport drop |
