Annapurna Base Camp (Sanctuary) Trek

This moderate trek is suited for those persons who want to see the combination of life styles of the Mountains, people and above the tree lines. The routes to Annapurna Base Camp commence from the tropical low land around the Pokhara Valley to Mountain glacier area. It follows the Modi canyon through the forest of oak, cherry and rhododendron with making several ups & down. Climbs on a rocky trail. The trail crosses a ravine and a major avalanche track beyond Hinko. Base camp offers the tremendous views of high Himalayas such as Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m) and Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. Fish tail, Annapurna III and many more Trekking Peaks towers above the sanctuary around of us.

After returning back to Chomrong the trail heads to Ghandruk through Kimrong danda. The view of Annapurna South (7223m), Hiunchuli (6441m), and Machhapuchhre (6993m) are clearly visible from Ghandruk. Finally we descent down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhra and fly or drive to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Days 01 : Pick up from Airport and Hotel check in

Days 02 : Kathmandu city Sight seeing tour

Days 03 : Drive or Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Days 04 : Drive to Phedi about half an hour. Commence trek to Dhampus (1750m) about 3 hour’s walk. After lunch trek 1 and half hour to Pothana and Overnight at Lodge.

Days 05 : Trek to top of Deurali (2400 m.) and descend down to Landruk (1646m). Cross the river and overnight at Jhinnu danda. About 6/7 hours walk. Overnight at Lodge.

Days 06 : Trek to from Jinnu danda to Chomrong and cross another river and overnight at Sinuwa (2060 m) about 6 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge.

Days 07 : Trek from Sinuwa to Dhovan (2630m) about 6 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge.

Days 08 : Trek from Dhovan to Machhpuchre B.C (3720m) and if possible to trek further up to Annaurna Base camp about 6/7 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge.

Days 09 : Trek from MBC or Annapurna base camp (4100 m) trek further up an hour for the better view of glaciers. And after break fast descent down to Deurali. Overnight at Lodge.

Days 10 : Trek back to Chomorng aboutt 6/7 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge

Days 11 : Trek from Chomrong to Ghandruk 2000 m. about 6 hour’s walk. Overnight at Lodge

Days 12 : Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.

Days 13 : Drive back to Kathamdnu

Days 14 : Leisure day in Kathmandu

Days 15 : Airport drop

Trip Cost includes:
Airport pick up and drop
6 nights hotel accommodation in Standard hotel in KTM and PKR.
One full day sight seeing tour in Kathmandu Valley in Car.
Tourist bus Transpiration Kathmandu – Pokhara - Kathmandu and Taxi from Pokhara to Trek starting point and ending point to Pokhara.
