Nepal

The biggest natural museum in the world.

Nepal is located between India and China occupying an area of 141181 sq. km., its length from northeast to southeast is about 885 km and its width varies from 145 km. to 241 km. Though Nepal is very small in size, we find different geographical positions and variations in the altitudes of different places. Its elevation ranges from 60 m. above sea level to 8848 m. this varied landscape has a population of roughly 23 million consisting of more than 30 ethnic groups having different traditions, cultures and speaking above 70 languages.

Nepali is the national language however travel trade people speak English as well. The political system in Nepal is multi-party democracy with constitutional monarchy.

Nepal is the most peaceful multi-religious and full of cultural wonder countries in the world. The small area of Nepal holds a considerably high number of places recognized by UNESCO as “world heritage Sites”. There are all together ten worlds Heritage Sites in Nepal, seven of which are in Kathmandu itself.

Nepal is best known as the home of mount Everest but It is also true that Nepal is a heady mix, a fascinating land of ancient history, vibrant cultures and people, scenic grandeur from the magnificent snow-capped peaks to the north, the lesser mountains and midlands in the central region and the tropical jungles and fertile plains to the south.

This is land for tourists, trekkers, mountaineers, climbers, rafters, wildlife lover, researcher and nature lovers. Here breathtaking scenery and myriad of mountain will surround you. Mountain trails are waiting to bring you adventures in this wonderful Himalayas. You can visit Nepal any time of the year. There is something for everyone. How to access to Nepal
By Air:
Nepal is land locked country. There are two alternatives to access to Nepal or its capital Kathmandu. It can be accessed by air via London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Moscow, Osaka, Shanghai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Lhasa, Paro, Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Dhaka, Karachi, Varanasi, Calcutta, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

By Land:
Nepal can be reached through six entries points (1) Kakarvitta (2) Birgunj (3) Belhiya, Bhairahawa (4) Nepalgunj (5) Dhangadi and (6) Mahedranagar on the Nepal India Border and (7) Kodari on the Nepal- China border.
