More than anything else, Nepal is best known
for its mountains and mountaineering. Nowhere else on earth can
you find such a connection of high snow capped mountains and
have the opportunity to climb some of he highest peaks in the
world. Of course, the Everest immediately some to mind when
people think of Nepal but what is less often known is that Nepal
is home to another seven peaks over 8000 meters and innumerable
others between six and eight thousand meters. Currently among
1200, some 236 peaks are available for expeditions with an
additional 104 minor peaks being designated as “Trekking Peaks”.
